What is the Best Way to Clean Drains?

What is the Best Way to Clean Drains?

We offer many different services, but unclogging drains is what we do best! This is because of our investment in high-pressure drain cleaning equipment. While we still do offer traditional drain cleaning services, our jetting service is the quickest and longest-lasting solution.

The Benefits of High-Pressure Drain Cleaning

A water jet uses pressure to clean a pipe (kind of like power washing.) Whereas conventional cleaning is done with a mechanical cutter where we run a steel cable down a sewer pipe to clean it. This traditional method is harsh on your pipes, especially if you have older or clay pipes. Not to mention, if you have grease or another kind of buildup in that pipe, the mechanical cutter won’t do much.

High-pressure water jetting does a fantastic job of clearing your drains even if you have a heavy grease buildup. In fact, these jetters were invested to remove grease from restaurant drains.

On average, conventional drain cleaning methods can remove about 50-60%, while jetting can remove 95-100% of the blockage.

The Cost of High-Pressure Water Drain Cleaning

While using the jetter can be a more expensive solution, it is longer lasting. If you do have a decent blockage and opt for the more affordable mechanical cutters, your issue might be solved for a while, but since there is still buildup in those lines, you’ll be calling us back sooner rather than later.
